Wake Forest public school students are served by Wake County Public Schools, the largest and one of the most highly acclaimed districts in the state of North Carolina. Some of the best schools within the district, like Heritage High School and Jones Dairy Elementary, are located right within the town of Wake Forest. There are also top-notch public charter school options in town, like Franklin Academy and Wake Forest Charter Academy.

Travel and Transporation

Wake Forest is conveniently located between US Route 1 and US Route 401, for easy access to Raleigh, the Research Triangle Park and RTP, and Durham. Downtown Raleigh is just 25 minutes away down Route 1. Downtown Durham is about 40 minutes away on Route 98. And the airport and RTP are 35 minutes away along I-540.
